Posts Tagged ‘Cabin Pressure’

It’s been such a long time since I’ve blogged. I was even part way through a blog post ages ago and never finished it. But don’t worry, I’m back now! And I’ll be sure to keep you updated about what is happening in my life – I already have a few plans for this year so 2014 is looking promising.

Since I last wrote a post I’ve done a couple of things: gone to a Black Veil Brides concert, queued outside RADA for half a day in the cold for the last epsiode of Cabin Pressure, watched a load of MI High (there is a new series!) and… well I think that’s about it really.

MeBut I’m back now, so expect more blogposts to be coming up soon!

Peace and love,

I remembered recently that I have a Youtube account. I never use it, so decided to put together all of the short clips of myself I’ve collected over the years in order to try and make something. And here it is! I apologise in advance that it’s a bit blurry in places and hard to hear especially towards the end. However, I had great fun putting together (and trying to find where I’d saved) the clips. The video mainly includes me saying, ‘baa’ in a number of different places.

Change the quality to HD to make it a bit clearer.

Also, the random bit of Benedict Cumberbatch was added in there because I quite like knowing that I was there and I saw him! Iย spoke to the person he was having a picture with him at the beginning of the clip.ย So jealous! ๐Ÿ˜€

I realise I’ve written a lot about the radio sitcom, Cabin Pressure, recently. However, it is very exciting and as I went to the last of the recordings yesterday, I felt I ought to share my experiences with you all.

Although my friend was running late so we had to wait 20 minutes for the next train (urgh!) we didn’t miss anything (we hope) and were able to wait for our chance to see the actors, going to many foodplaces nearby to wait and watch.

We tried to stay out of the way of the RADA workers, as didn’t want to annoy them. We couldn’t risk being sent away. Then, after quite a reasonable amount of waiting, we saw Roger Allam and knew he must be heading to Cafรฉ Nero, like he had last time with Benedict Cumberbatch. We rushed there and had to buy something so bought a bag of popcorn whilst Roger Allam entered and queued behind us! Exciting times! We sat down to eat our bag of popcorn and he sat down at the spare window seat beside us to drink his ‘small espresso.’ However, it was so small that he drank it in one and then was off again.

On the way back, I took this picture of him:

Roger Allam

Yes, its blurry, so I’ve blurred the background to make him more in focus.

And my friend, wanting to draw attention to himself, took a video. Filming him walking?!? Well, Roger Allam did turn around and did notice. Oh dear.

Anyway, I could bore you with several pictures of us waiting around in cafรฉs, etc. but I won’t and will go straight to the end of the recordings, meeting the actors.

Stephanie Cole

I saw Stephanie Cole! And got her autograph! ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m an enormously happy toy cow.

Benedict Cumberbatch

And I took several pictures of Benedict Cumberbatch, but was literally one person away from him for getting his autograph. I DIDN’T GET HIS AUTOGRAPH! And those people who were pushing in did! I’m really annoyed. I’ve always dreamed of having his autograph, but now I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get it… ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I’m quite upset.

Roger Allam

On a positive note, I did get apicture with Roger Allam, though I’m not sure he was very fond of me… I don’t think he’s had many pictures with toy cows before.

Also, probably the highlight of my day, I saw Anthony Head again andspeaking to my friends and me,ย he said,

‘I know Cowie.’

That did make my day. Anyway, another brilliant day. Although I didn’t get to speak to Benedict Cumberbatch, it was nice being there and I did enjoy myself.

This post may seem rather random to some, but when I see an overly large onion, I feel the need to share it.

My family were cooking, and I was amazed by the size of this onion (although I’m sure there will have been larger onions known before) so I asked them to let me have a photo with it.

Would you look at that!?! It’s bigger than me (though that’s hardly an impressive comparison).

Please excuse the fuzziness of the photosย (especially the last one)ย – I’m trying out my iPod’s camera.

It’s probably a bit late to say this now, but Happy New Year!
I’m going to the final Cabin Pressure series 4 recording tomorrow for another day of waiting outside, so cannot wait!

Life f Cowie magazine issue 2

Finally I have made the second issue of the Life Of Cowie magazine, which mainly contains recent posts reworded in various places, but I enjoy handing them out to people I know and want to keep my magazines going. It is quite a short issue, containing my recent stories about Three Days Grace, Evanescence and Cabin pressure, and also one of my school teachers and her baby and the winner of the life of Cowie drawing competition.

A link to the magazine is below:

I rather likeย these picturesย as I didn’t get a chance to take many photos, as he left early. And he’s wearing his cool hat. Who doesn’t like a good hat?Benedict Cumberbatch

Benedict Cumberbatch

Benedict Cumberbatch is really cool! And his face in the second picture! :O AMAZING!

So, my last post, ‘left behind’ was two weeks ago about how I couldn’t get into the Cabin Pressure recordings. However, today I came along to them and after waiting outside for 5 hours I finally managed to see some of the actors!

As we weren’t allowed in, we had to wait outside, but kept ourselved occupied by listening to other episodes of Cabin Pressure.

However, we were sent away, and had to stand in the cold. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

During the break, one of the producers came out and we had a group photo with him.

The staff there would not let us in even several minutes after the recording had ended, so when they weren’t looking, we went down a different corridor and made our own way into the room.

I’m really happy!
Look, he’s kissing me!

Not forgetting John Finnemore! ๐Ÿ™‚

I didn’t manage to meet very many of the actors, but it was great meeting those that I did.

It was an amazing day. I might go and wait outside the next recording. ๐Ÿ™‚

OOOhh, and one small detail I missed out:
We weren’t queueing as we couldn’t get in without a ticket, so we saw Benedict Cumberbatch and Roger Allam and followed them because they are amazing. ๐Ÿ™‚ That really was great fun.
