Shrove Tuesday is a brilliant day, because people make me pancakes. I know I should be interested in it for religious reasons but they have been forgotten over time by some people and so the day is less meaningful and an opportunity for people (like me) to make and eat loads of pancakes!

Just look at my pancakes! I ate four whole pancakes! And I gave them different toppings – chocolate, strawberry, maple syrup and lemon and sugar. It’s the most fun I’ve had in ages!

I really do look forward to Pancake Day every year, and I’ve chosen to give up chocolate for lent. I hope I don’t forget and accidentally eat some!

I hope you had nice pancakes too!
Cowie 😀

Hello fellow bloggers and friends,

Today I ate some paella (vegetarian, of course 🙂 ) and y’know, it was nice.

EDIBLE! Just thought I’d share that with you. Lovely!

Hope you are all having a nice time,

People often tell me how delicious Haribos are, and I have to simply take their word for it, because I am a vegetarian and therefore cannot eat sweets containing gelatine. However, in London a few weeks ago, I found some delicious vegetarian (and some even vegan) sweets similar to Haribos, and bought them.

They are shaped like cola bottles, dinosaurs, bears and snakes. And no animals are used in the making of these sweets. How cool!?!  know that other places do vegetarian sweets like these, but these are so cool! I was going to take a picture of me eating them once they were outside of the bag, but I accidentally ate them all (yes, all four packets) 🙂

And they’re also cool because they’re organic. Oh, how I love organic products! I gave someone who likes Haribos one to try, and they said that these are really nice and just like Haribos. So I’ve come to the conclusion that if I ate meat, I’d like Haribos.

More sweets are becoming vegetarian nowadays. Even some Haribos are. I’ll have to try some of them at some point. 😀

Sorry I haven’t blogged in ages. I’m gonna start blogging again for a bit. I just came back from a trip to Turkey, so will do some blog posts about that at some point. I also want to write about MI High. MI High is cool.

Bye, Cowie

Now, nothing beats a good bit of Heinz tomato soup.

Heinz tomato soup

Today, I’ve decided to invite my friend over and make soup for us.

However, cooking it was quite difficult – I had to sit on the pan handle in order to stir it.

Soup for two

When it was done, I put it into bowls for me and my friend.

I’m quite pleased with my cooking skills.

And it made the perfect amount for two people

Just finished this blogpost and my soup’s still hot. Here comes my friend. I hope they like soup as much as I do.

This post may seem rather random to some, but when I see an overly large onion, I feel the need to share it.

My family were cooking, and I was amazed by the size of this onion (although I’m sure there will have been larger onions known before) so I asked them to let me have a photo with it.

Would you look at that!?! It’s bigger than me (though that’s hardly an impressive comparison).

Please excuse the fuzziness of the photos (especially the last one) – I’m trying out my iPod’s camera.

It’s probably a bit late to say this now, but Happy New Year!
I’m going to the final Cabin Pressure series 4 recording tomorrow for another day of waiting outside, so cannot wait!

Cowie. 🙂

Whilst in Spain, I found myself absent-mindedly collecting paper serviettes from cafes and restaurants.

Over the two weeks I spent in Spain, I managed to collect 15 different designs of paper napkins

Lots of serviettes

I am quite glad I collected them, because they’re cool – each similar with the same, “gracias por su visita,” written at the bottom.

As much as I do love a free souvenir, now the big question is where am I going to store them…? 😦 hmmm…

Whilst in Spain, one of my favourite places to dine has been the Royal Marrakesch Restaurant I love pancakes (it is a pancake house) and it is a very relaxing place.

Chilling in a tree

What nice, very comfortable, trees they have.

Comfy chairs

And many of their chairs were a fairly good size for me (well, they were good height-wise)

With plenty to climb on,…

…sit on and stand on, it was a jolly good place.

By the pool

They also had a swimming pool, which I enjoyed sitting by.

So if you are passing, do stop by at The Royal Marrakesch!
