As I somewhat neglected this blog, I have decided to start up an Instagram account so that I can show you what I get up to.

Instagram is so much fun and I have made friends with lots of other plush animals like me on there. I have been posting small updates on what I do day-to-day, so please feel free to follow me. I love meeting new cool people from across the world.

I have also decided to use this blog again from time to time as I miss blogging!

Hope you are all doing ok.

Peace,
Cowie

Shrove Tuesday is a brilliant day, because people make me pancakes. I know I should be interested in it for religious reasons but they have been forgotten over time by some people and so the day is less meaningful and an opportunity for people (like me) to make and eat loads of pancakes!

Pancakes!
Just look at my pancakes! I ate four whole pancakes! And I gave them different toppings – chocolate, strawberry, maple syrup and lemon and sugar. It’s the most fun I’ve had in ages!

Me

I really do look forward to Pancake Day every year, and I’ve chosen to give up chocolate for lent. I hope I don’t forget and accidentally eat some!

I hope you had nice pancakes too!
Cowie 😀

Helloooooo!

It’s been such a long time since I’ve blogged. I was even part way through a blog post ages ago and never finished it. But don’t worry, I’m back now! And I’ll be sure to keep you updated about what is happening in my life – I already have a few plans for this year so 2014 is looking promising.

Since I last wrote a post I’ve done a couple of things: gone to a Black Veil Brides concert, queued outside RADA for half a day in the cold for the last epsiode of Cabin Pressure, watched a load of MI High (there is a new series!) and… well I think that’s about it really.

MeBut I’m back now, so expect more blogposts to be coming up soon!

Peace and love,
Cowie

Today I went to the Cueva de Nerja, which is fairly near where I am staying. The Caves of Nerja stretch for almost 5 kilometres, and the caverns are one of Spain’s major tourist attractions.

A map of the plan of the caves is below, and a link to the website can be found here. (click on the picture for better quality, and the website also includes photos of various areas).

Map of la Cueva de NerjaI had heard about the caves, and thought they sounded interesting, so decided to go with a group of people. They all paid, and I just slipped in with them.

Me
So here I am inside the caves. I know the picture isn’t great, but it said no photography. Now, I don’t know whether it meant no flash photography, because everyone was taking pictures. Anyway, a dark cave with no flash permitted is a bit annoying.

Cueva de Nerja

And here are some of the photos I took. It was a really beautiful place, and if you are passing it, I suggest you have a look around (although alternatively there is a virtual tour on the website, which is really cool).

Peace,
Cowie

I took some pictures recently and, looking back on them, they seem rather unnecessary and just like a typical tourist – I mean, I took a picture of a POST BOX.

Post Box

I found it rather interesting, and felt the need to have a closer look.

Post Box

But it’s sort of acceptable and understandable because post boxes are red where I live, not yellow! How exciting are yellow post boxes?

Haha,

Hello fellow bloggers and friends,

Today I ate some paella (vegetarian, of course 🙂 ) and y’know, it was nice.

Pealla

EDIBLE! Just thought I’d share that with you. Lovely!

Hope you are all having a nice time,
Cowie.

Recently, I have enjoyed looking at the moon. I have taken pictures when I went camping and this evening in Spain, when the sky looks particularly interesting.

The only problem is that my camera ain’t great, so although it can zoom quite well, the quality isn’t very good.

But I quite like the pictures I have taken.

Moon

This one is the one I took when I went camping. I quite liked the position of the moon through the trees, so chose to take a photograph of it.

Moon
Then recently in Spain, there have been many clouds in the sky. The moon here is full, which is rather exciting as well.

Cowie 🙂

Last year when I came to Spain, I spent a long time collecting the ‘Gracias por su visita’ serviettes from restaurants and cafés. This year I came across one and the memories came flooding back. I’ve been keeping an eye out for them, but have only come across two so far 😦

Serviettes
But at least I’ve found some!!

Thrilling, eh?

Today I mastered swimming *cue applause*.

Paddling
I gradually lowered myself into the cold water, with the security of wearing my armbands and sitting in the rubber ring.

Armbands
Then I removed the ring and was very happy because I floated. I practised swimming with the armbands, but wanted to challenge myself to see if I could swim without them.

Swimming
And I could! I am enormously proud of myself.

Relaxing
So I spent today relaxing in the water. I don’t fear water any more!

The only thing I hate is drying off – I got out of the pool two hours ago and am still soaking wet and freezing. BRRRR!

Here in Spain there is nothing I love more than to come across a good ol’ gecko.

And I did!

This gecko was in a shower. Bless it.

Gecko
I just had to get a picture with it. So here you have it – me with a gecko. Lovely.
